Youth Killed, Boy Hurt
Z. Press Association) WANGANUI, August 26. A youth was killed and his brother injured in a collision between a truck and a tractor at Matahiwi Landing, 37 miles from Wanganui, today. The dead youth was: Richard Mita Ryder, aged 17, of Ranana.
William Ryder, aged 10, who was riding on the tractor is in Wanganui Hospital with extensive bruises and abrasions.
The front assembly of the tractor fell off and the tractor rolled over, pinning the Ryder brothers.
