Hatch Cup
Convtcing wins in the fourth and fifth rounds has given Canterbury a clear lead in section one of the New Zealand primary schools’ Hatch Cup hockey tournament. Wairarapa ahd Auckland are joint leaders in section two. Two rounds will be played today and the final on Friday. Results:— Round Four.—Wellington 2, Otago 1; Canterbury 10, South Canterbury 0; West Coast 2. Marlborough 2; Hawke’s Bay 0, Nelson 0; Wairarapa 5, Southland 0; Auckland 9, Ashburton 0. Round Five.—Canterbury 6, Whangarel 1:. Otago 2, West Coast 0: Marlborough 4, South Canterbury 2; Wairarapa 4. Taranaki 1; Ashburton 4, Hawke’s Bay 1; Auckland 7, Southland 0.
