Title Fight Agreed
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Aug. 26. The new holder of the British Empire middleweight boxing title will be found on November 12 when Gomeo Brennan, of the Bahamas, and Earl Nikora meet at Carlaw Park. Mr B. R. Arnott, president of the Auckland Boxing Association, said tonight that both boxers, who are recognised by the British Boxing Board vf Control as official contenders for the title, had agreed to the terms. Tuna Scanlan, of Auckland, won the title by beating Brennan on points at Carlaw Park earlier this year, but he announced his retirement after he had broken his hand in losing to Nikora last month.
