INCHES TO SPARE.—Sailors on a United States Navy tug have a close-up view as the American Eagle (No. 21) leads the Constellation round their craft, used as the weather mark during the race between the two American finalists for the America’s Cup contest. The sloops raced almost bow-to-bow over the 24-mile course, Constellation winning by just over a minute.
