Soccer Trophy Retained
(N Z. Press Association) TIMARU, August 26. A superior Canterbury team beat South Canterbury A, 3-0, to retain the Ken Johnson Memorial Shield in the South Island under-12 schoolboys soccer tournament at Timaru.
Today’s results were: Canterbury 8, South Canterbury B o? Southland 3, Nelson 1; South Canterbury A 2, North Otago 0; North Otago 3, South Canterbury B 2: Otago 1, Southland 0; Canterbury 3, South Canterbury 0.
