DIZZY HOUND
(NZ. Press Assn.—Copyright f LONDON, August 26. Prince, a 10-stone Pyrenean mountain dog went climbing today. He got out through a bedroom window at his owner’s home in Southampton on to a narrow veranda roof. Then he looked down and saw he was 10ft from the ground. And he froze. He wouldn’t jump and he wouldn’t go back through the window. Firemen got him down two hours later in a sling. The owner, Anthony Fownes, said: “I'm sorry to admit he's afraid of heights."
