APPEAL NOT UPHELD
Rental Vehicle Licences (N.Z. Presa Association) WELLINGTON, August 25. in a decision released today the Transport Licensing Appeal Authority (Judge K. G. Archer) dismissed an appeal by the New Zealand Rental Vehicle Proprietors’ Association against the decision of the No. 9 Transport Licensing Authority granting a transfer of rental vehicle licences from Archibald’s Garage, Ltd., Christchurch, to Hertz Rent-a-Car, Ltd. The application had been opposed -by the appellant associationland by tliree Christchurch rental operators, but none of the latter had appealed or made representations in support of the appeal, the decision said.
