Young Shooter Injured
(N.Z. Press Association? NELSON, August 25. A young Taranaki tobacco worker is in Nelson Hospital recovering from a gunshot wound in the left groin. He is Terrence Noble, aged 18, of Waitara, who has been employed by Mr M. J. Thorn, of Thorpe, for about four months.
He was accidentally shot about 1 p.m. yesterday while rabbit shooting with a 14-year-old companion. The two were wading across the Dove river when the younger boy stumbled, and the .22 rifle he was carrying discharged.
