N.Z. Tour XI In Malaya
(N.I. Fress Assn.—Copyright) KUALA LUMPUR, August 25. The touring New Zealand cricket team and the Malayan Cricket Association drew a keenly contested two-dsy match, which ended at Kuala Lumpur yesterday. The Malayan team was only 17 rung short of victory at close of play, with four wickets remaining.
Scores: New Zealand 104 (S. G. McKnight 36, G. T. McConnell 17; C. Shepherdson 3 for 22, W. Doss 3 for 29) and 66 for 6 dec. (C. C. Payton 31, M. J. Aim 22 not out), Malayan XI 53 (Cunis 5 for 17, MCConnell 4 for 16) and 101 for 6 (D. de Silva 41 not out).
