Two Houses Sold
A six-roomed house on a section of a quarter of an acre, zoned commercial A, at 5 Buckleys road, Linwood, was sold for £4OOO at public auction yesterday. The auctioneer was Mr W. K. Christiansen. The initial bid was £2750. There was one bid of £250, six of £lOO, and eight of £5O. Offered on account of the estate of Matilda Cook, a roughcast bungalow at 16 Milton street, Spreydon, was sold for £l7OO. The auctioneer was Mr Denys Chapman.
The house has tw’O bedrooms, lounge, bathroom, and laundry. The section is 41.4 perches.
