Multi Listing Sales Down
Sales by members of the Multiple Listing Bureau of Christchurch dropped 36.8 per cent to 49 during June, compared with the same period last year, says the bureau in its latest newsletter.
Although this was a sharp drop on May’s record figure, the decline was expected to be only temporary. Listings for June were 28 higher at 133 than in the previous month.
In the three month to June 30, sales of 199 were 26 higher than the same period last year, but listings were 49 down at 373.
