DISMISSED APPEAL

WELLINGTON, July 20.

An appeal by Arthur John Warrington against his conviction and sentence on charges of doing an indecent act in a public place was dismissed by the Court of Appeal today. Warrington was gaoled for nine months on each of two charges in the Supreme Court, Christchurch, on June 5. In the Court of Appeal Mr B. J. Drake appeared for the appellant and Mr G. S. Orr for the Crown.

The Court of Appeal comprised Mr Justice North, Mr Justice Turner and Mr Justice Hutchison.
