Matches Played In Heavy Conditions (From Out Own Reporter) GREYMOUTH, July 19. Two schoolboy Rugby League teams from Christchurch visited Greymouth during the week-end to play matches against West Coast schoolboy teams. The No. 2. ground at Wingham Park was in very heavy condition for games.

In the under 11 grade Canterbury won the Stewart Cup by beating West Coast by 11 points to 0. The scorers for Canterbury were N. Borlase, G. Hardy and P. McCone. Each registered a try, one of which was converted by P. McEwan. In the under 13 grade West Coast won the Innes memorial trophy by defeating Canterbury by 6 points to 0. G. Quinn scored two tries for the West Coast.
