Quick Quotas Of Toheroa

DARGAVILLE, July 1. Cars carrying eager toheroa diggers arrived at Northland’s west coast beaches in a steady stream this morning for the opening of the toheroa season. With the beds well stocked and the shellfish in good nick quotas took only a few minutes to obtain. A resident at Chases gorge counted 37 cars travelling to the beach in half an hour from 9 o’clock.
