H. N. Rauhihi To Ride No Offence

WELLINGTON, July 1. 11. N. Ruahihi has been engaged to ride No Offence, topweight in Saturday’s Wellington Steeplechase, following the suspension yesterday at Wanganui, of B. J. Langford. Following the Dr. Simmons Memorial, first leg of the TA.B. double at Wanganui today, Langford was charged with causing interference to That's That (R. A. Jenkins) which her position in the first furlong. Langford was suspended till 5 p.m. on Saturday next. Besides No Offence, on which Langford had won the Grand National Steeplechase last winter he was also engaged for Cornstalk, one of the favourites for the Vittoria Hack Hurdles, and Onerba, at Trentham this week Riding engagements for the first day of the Wellington winter meeting on Saturday include:— G.
