NEW AWARD FOR ENGINEERS
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 30. Wage increases ranging from 7s 6d to 10s 9d a week are provided for factory engineers in an award issued today by the Court of Arbitration. The award covers New Zealand with the exception of the Westland Industrial district.
January 2 has been added to the list of paid holidays. Wage rates are retrospective to June 2.
