FIRST CRANE FOR RECLAMATION SCHEME.—The Lyttelton Harbour Board’s floating crane Rapaki transporting a 30-ton gantry structure from the inner harbour to the new berth at the new harbour reclamation in the outer harbour. The crane is one of 12 planned for the reclamation berths. Many of these are now well under construction at No. 1 Breastwork. This section weighs 70 tons.
