LONDON, June 29. Britain’s first seaside resort to allow mixed bathing has drawn the line at topless swimsuits. The resort, Bexhill. in Sussex, <2 miles south of London, was . described by its town hall officials today as “pretty broadminded”. They permitted mixed bathing as early as 1963. Today two girls decided to give their new topless salts an airing on
the Bexhill sands. But It was too much far local residents who complained to the municipal authorities. Officials decided the girls’ action contravened a SO-year-oM by-law and that women wearing topless bathing salts in publie should be reported for prosecution. The i fort’s entertainmeats muuucer.
