Indoor Basketball B GRADE TOURNEY
S. Canterbury Winner (N.Z. Press Association) GREYMOUTH, June 28. South Canterbury won the South Island men's B grade indoor basketball championships in Greymouth last evening. South Canterbury defeated Mid-Canterbury by 41 points to 39 tn the final game of the twoday series. Eight teams competed in the championships which began on Friday morning. South Canterbury were first, Mid-Canterbury 2, Nelson 3, West Coast 4, Southland 5, Canterbury 6, Marlborough 7, and Buller S. Earlier results were:— South Canterbury 41, West Coast 31; Southland 49, Buller 30; Canterbury 59, Marlborough 53; Mid-Canterbury 50, Nelson 41.
