Firm Tone At Start Of Week’s Trading
This week’s trading on New Zealand stock exchanges got away to a good start with the market firmer than at last week’s close, but the strength was in the New Zealand section with leaders firmer and B shares coming into line. Among companion issues to move , into line with old shares were Coulls, Somerville, Wilkie B, up 6d to 425, Dunlop B, up Is 6d to 755, Farmers’ Fertiliser B, up 6d to 48s, and Sanford B, up 3d to 15s 3d.
