Farming Life In N.Z. riv Z Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 29. A German television (earn is making a travel film about New Zealand The team arrived in New Zealand last Thursday and has been based in Wellington, Tomorrow the men leave for Rotorua and then go on to Auckland.
Leading the party is 36-year-old Rolf Eschenbach, the N.D.R. (Northern ' German Broadcasting) television correspondent in Tokyo. The film about New Zealand will be shown on his monthly programme, which deals with places in the Pacific. It will run about 25 minutes.
The things they want to emphasise most in the film are volcanic activity, Maori life and farming. “We want to show New Zealand from the view of the discerning tourist” Mr Eschenbach said So far the team has taken shots of Wellington and the Wairarapa. They spent a night or a sheep farm and photographed dogs at work and aerial topdressing.
