Two Charged In Yacht Case

Two key figures in the Christine yacht case, Edward Richard Anderson, 32, and Ronald Ernest Verrier, 35, were yesterday charged with conspiracy to defraud. The charge stated that between June, 1963, and January, 1964, they Conspired together and with others unknown to defraud the Crown Life Insurance Company by falsely pretending that Anderson had died at sea. Both men, who were each allowed bail of £lOOO, are to appear at Marlborough Street Court today.
