LAND SALE SOUGHT
Trust Use ‘lmpossible’ (From Our Own Reporter) WELLINGTON, June 28. An application by the trustees of the late Mr T. D. Burnett to sell land at Pleasant Point “because it is impossible to carry out the functions of the trust” will be heard in the Supreme Court, Dunedin, on August 10. The original provision laid down in the deed of trust signed in 1941 was “the carrying on upon such lands of a school for the training of girls in the domestic arts.” The trustees are Percy Barnes Foote, Donald Mount Cook Burnett, Catriona Mackay Beatock Baker, and Graham Alexander Foote. The solicitor for the trustees is Mr O. Stevens, ‘of Timaru.
