Dairy Board Election
(N Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 28. The vacancy on the Dairy Board caused by the retirement of Mr D. A. Finlayson, of Maungaturotb, has been filled by the election of Mr T. A. Carroll, chairman of directors of the Northern Wairoa Dairy Company.
Mr Carroll, who was opposed by Mr C. F Smith, a director of the Mid-North-land Dairy Company, polled 23 640 votes to Mr Smith’s 12,528.
