(2) The timber under offer Is an annual supply of 320,000 cu. ft. of podocarp species and a sufficient quantity of beech species to give an annual sawn output qf approximately 1,000,000 board feet. (3) Initially tenders are invited for Sawmilling Area 564 which is situated in Block I, Reefton Survey District, and is estimated to contain some 461,670 cubic feet of podocarp species approximately 50 per cent of which is Rimu and Miro. Tenderers must therefore submit full particulars of their proposals which will be taken Into account when tenders are being considered. (6) Tenders marked “Tender for S.A. 564” and accompanied by a marked or bank cheque for £250, must be in sealed envelopes addressed to the Conservator of Forests, Nelson, with whom they close at noon on July 31, 1964.
