Adjournment On July 17

WELLINGTON, June 26. The House of Representatives will probably hold its first two-week adjournment for this session between July 17 and August-4, the Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) recommended to the House today. The Leader of the Opposition (Mr Nordmeyer) did not comment.
Mr Holyoake leaves on Thursday for the Commonwealth Prime Ministers’ conference in London. He also said the Budget debate would' open on Tuesday evening There would not be a sitting on Tuesday afternoon. He expected jthe debate would end on about Tuesday, July 14.
