No Date For Debate
(From Our Own Reporter) WELLINGTON, June 26.
The projected debate between the Anglican Bishop of Auckland (the Rt. Rev. E. A. Gowing) and the Olympic athletic coach, Mr A. Lydiard, on apartheid in sport, will not take place for at least a fortnight.
Mr Lydiard said in Wellington this evening that he expected to spend the next two weeks in the South Island on business. He had not discussed the debate with the Bishop.
