5 Per Cent Increase . (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 25. The butterfat price for next season will be 5 per cent. higher, and the differential for cheese over butter rises from 5d to 6d a pound of butterfat. The new season’s price should enable companies on average to pay suppliers 33.9 d a pound for butterfat for butter, and 39.9 d a pound for butterfat for cheese. The 1963-64 prices were 32d a pound butterfat for butter and 37d a pound for cheese.
