Christchurch Man Killed

AUCKLAND, June 25.
A Christchurch man died and another was seriously injured when a truck and a car collided on the Great South road tonight.
The man who died was:
Graeme Geoffrey Atkinson, aged 36, married with three children, of 870 Avonside drive.
The injured man is Leslie Percival Lock, married, of 42 Pinewood avenue.
The accident occurred a quarter of a mile south of Rangiriri. The two men were travelling In the car. The two badly damaged vehicles were wrenched apart with a winch.
Both men were taken to Hamilton Hospital, where Mr Atkinson died. Mr Lock has chest injuries and lacerations. His condition is serious.
