Big Sale Of Implements
(N.Z. Press Association) GORE, June 17. Buyers in their thousands attended what is believed to be New Zealand’s biggest auction of farm implements, machinery and equipment in the Gore district today. Six hundred entries covering several acres . were assembled at McNab, Where motor-vehicles were lined on both sides of the highway for about a mile. Parking space was at a . premium. In a big paddock, ] where the sale was progess- , ing in three separate sections, ■ it was difficult to estimate the numbers present. But a member of the staff , of the organising firm said ' his estimate of the attendance , at the firm’s sixth annual sale would be anything up to ■ 4000.
