AUCKLAND, June 18. A change again to fine weather has improved the going which should be no worse than soft for the Bay of Plenty Racing Club's winter meeting at Tau ranga on Saturday. The T.A.B. double, will be on the Winter Handicap and the Winter Sprint. Whether’ Clarendon will start in the Winter Sprint will not be decided until tomorrow morning. He has had a skin infection which had caused him to miss work. Selections:— 11 a.m.—Trial Stakes—First division: Forebrace, Tanic, Judy Ann. Second division; Boscar. Foxrone, Five Spot. 11.45 a.m.—Oropl Hurdles: Time Payment, Prince Judah, Monoceros. 1.15 p.m.—Club Handicap: First Mate, Fiery Lad, Levuka. 2.5 p.m.—Winter Handicap: Sybeau, Walpari, Queenwood, 2.45 p.m.—Bay of Plenty Steeplechase: King’s Mill, Daysun, Deep Stream. 3.35 p.m.—Winter Sprint: Gay Cobbler, Prince Manu, Sincerely, 4.15 p.m.—Harbour Handicap: Something Special, Montaha, Tawa Mahal.
