FUEL OIL LOADING
(N.Z. Press Association) WHANGAREI, May 31. The Marsden Point oil refinery has quietly been making products for the last two or three days, the general manager (Mr J. Carney) said yesterday. It has been producing diesel oil, fuel oil and gasoline in sufficient quantities to be able to blend for the first distribution tankers. The super tanker Serenia is loading 30,000 tons of fuel oil for Singapore and is due to sail to-day. The Maurea is due to-day to load fuel oil and probably bitumen for the local market. The Area is due on June 3 to load gasoline for the' New Zealand coast.
