DRIVERS’ licences which expire on June 30. 1964, may be renewed at the County Office, Leeston, during office hours after June 1, 1964. Holders of licences previously Issued by the Springs County Council, Ellesmere County Council and Selwyn County Council (residents of Rakala Riding) may renew their licences by post, provided the current licence is enclosed, together with the prescribed fee of 5s for each year of renewal and a stamped, addressed envelope for return. Licences may be renewed for any number of years up to five. Personal application must be made by drivers required to produce a medical certificate or holding a licence issued by any other local authority. TESTING OF DRIVERS AGED 70 YEARS AND OVER Testing of drivers 70 years of age and over will be conducted on the following days and at the following places.
