UNIVERSITY VACANCIES AUSTRALIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY CHAIR OF JAPANESE APPLICATIONS are invited for appointment to the newly established Chair of Japanese in the School of General Studies of the University. It Is hoped that the appointee will take up duty early in 1965. Applicants are expected to be fluent in the Japanese language, to have a broad knowledge of Japanese literature, history and society and to be actively engaged in research in one of these fields.
