Vintage Cars In Rally
About 17 vintage cars from the Canterbury branch of the Vintage Car Club of New Zealand will go on the annual Irishman Creek rally this week-end. Normally the event goes to the Irishman Creek station, but this year it will go 130 miles from the starting point at Ealing to Braemar station, near Lake Pukaki.
The cars will leave Ealing this morning and arrive at the station about 4 p.m. The car club members will spend the week-end at the station before returning to Christchurch on Monday. *
