Pig Council Appointment
(Special Crspdt. N.Z.P.A.) LONDON, May 29. The New Zealand Dairy Production Marketing Board has appointed a Dane, Mr E. J. Kirkeby, to be senior technical officer to the New Zealand Pig Council. Mr Kirkeby, due at Wellington in the Southern Cross next month, came to England in 1953 to join a British firm as cattle and pig officer. After his appointment to the New Zealand post he toured Norway, Sweden, and Denmark studying the latest methods of pig production.
