One Man’s Meat
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY, May 29. Fried snails will he served to the touring French Rugby League team at a banquet at Wauchope, 300 miles north of Sydney, on Sunday. A French farmer, now living in the Wauchope district, has been cultivating edible snails for some time and will provide them for the banquet. The secretary of the North Coast Division, Mr John Henry, said: “I take it only the Frenchmen will be served snails.”
