Crockford’s Club Pairs Title Results in the first round of Crockford’s Club pairs were: North-south: Mesdames J. L. Davis and R. D. Iles 1, Mrs A. Houston and Miss V. Sapsford 2, P. J. Oakley and Mrs Oakley 3. East-west: R. L. Davey and Mrs E. G. Garbutt 1, Mesdames R. R. Bell and C. Baxter 2, Mesdames R. Duncan and H. Rudkin and Lady Stewart and Mrs E. Newson 3.
Results of the second Thursday afternoon match were:—• North-south: Mesdames R. D. Iles and W. J. Scott 1, Mesdames Lattaway and Salt 2, Mesdames M, Wilson and M. C. Casey 3. East-west: Mesdames G. B. McCredie and C. Baxter 1, Mesdames M. Armstrong and G. Fowler 2. Mesdames E. M. Taylor and H. E. Booker 3.
