Red Cross Appeal
The North Canterbury Red Cross annual appeal will be made on June 12. The usual street appeal will be held in Christchurch and in the suburbs with Red Cross members from city and sub-centres collecting. A stall will be held in the Square and a market in the Horticultural Society Hall. Sweets, produce, meat, clothing, and a white elephant and antique stalls will be organised in the hall.
