EQUAL TO BEST

Whangarei Glass (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. May 28. Glass now being produced it Whangarei by the New Zealand Window Glass Company, Ltd., will be equal to the best being imported in the opinion of Mr J. A. Redwood, president of the Glass Merchants' Association. In a statement today, Mr Redwood said several glass merchants had recently visited the reconstructed works, and were enthusiastic about the high quality of the glass being drawn. “Small deliveries have already been made, and stocks are being built up at such a rate that continuity of supply is assured,” he said. “The company has been able to rectify and overcome all the difficulties experienced by its predecessor.

“We feel sure merchants and users will be greatly relieved to know their sheet glass troubles, so far as quality and supply are concerned, should now be over.”
