Power Batting For 162 (IV.Z. Press Assn.— Copyright) OXFORD, May 28. A superb display of controlled power batting by I. R. Redpath, who scored 162, and an unbeaten 98 by R. M. Cowper carried the Australians’ score to 325 for four at lunch on the second day against Oxford University today. The Australians then had a lead of 125 over Oxford’s first innings total of 200. Redpath scored his runs in 180 minutes in only 57 scoring strokes, including 29 fours and two sixes. It was his second century in England and the highest individual innings of the tour so far.
