FIRST TEST MANAGER
Mr McCallum Appointed The Canterbury Table Tennla Association has appointed Mr A i B. McCallum manager for the . first test match between Australia and New Zealand to be held on June 3 in Christchurch. Mr R. G. Hart was appointed i manager -of the New Zealand team and Mr T. Poynton manager of the Australian team. As the Christchurch Poultry Club's Hall Is not available on June 8 the representative match between Canterbury and Wellington will be staged in the Riccarton Town Hgll. Canterbury’s nomination for sole South Island selector is Mr Haft. - For the I»S4 New Zealand table tennis championship. Canterbury, being the host assocla- . tiori, will nominate two men’s and two women s teams for the tnter-provlncial teams contest The following dates for lower grade representative fixtures were approved: June 8 v. Springs, at Springs: June 20 v. ; Malvern, at Christchurch: June '3O v. Ellesmere, al Southbridge: July 25 v. North Canterbury, at I Christchurch.
