Collection Tins Burnt
(fi.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Mav 26. About 11,000 C.0.R.5.0. collection tins worth £lOOO were ruined in the fire which destroyed the St John’s Methodist Church Hall in Ponsonby last night. They were last used in C.0.R.5.0.’s May collection. The Auckland C.0.R.5.0. organiser (Mr R. C. Sandford) said today the loss of the tins would mean “£lOOO less help to needy people.”
