Net Profit Of £19,640 Credit Services Investments, Ltd., Christchurch finance group, earned a consolidated net profit of £19,640 in the year, to April 1, the chairman, Sir Robert Macalister, announced yesterday; This is the first profit announced by the company in its new form. Credit Service Investments, Ltd., was formerly Finance and Indemnity, Ltd., and this year it took over Credit and Finance, Ltd. A group of Wellington subsidiaries has also been brought in with the consolidation. The preliminary report states that the profit of £19,640 does not include final dividends that have been declared by associate companies since the balance date. These amount to £3738, of which Credit Service Investments, Ltd., will receive £1760. Directors have recommended a final dividend of 7 per cent, making 10 per cent for the year. Dividend is payable to shareholders registered on July 20. Transfer books will not close.

Mosgiel Link In Auckland (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, May 26.’ • The Mosgiel Woollen Factory Co., Ltd., Dunedin, and ■Raymond Dale (Wool), Ltd., Auckland, have formed a joint company, ■ Shepherd Wools, Ltd., for the marketing of knitted wools. ’ Each company holds half of the £50,000 capital of the new company, which has been registered in Auckland. Raymond Dale (Wool), Ltd., wool buyer and exporter, started a knitting wool section about four years ago, the yarn being supplied by Mosgiel, but does not market knitting wools itself. Mosgiel will continue to supply the yarns, which will be- wound, balled and marketed by Shepherd Wools. N.Z. Ind. Cases.— Directors of N.Z. Industrial Gases, Lower Hutt, manufacturers of welding and medical gases, will pay an interim oidinary dividend of 4 per cent, ex dividend June 13 Last year interim, was 31 per cent and final 5} per cent making 9 per cent for the year.—(P.A.).
