Reserves Leap In Australia
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY, May 25. The Reserve Bank of. Australia’s holdings of gold, and foreign exchange took a. further leap from £794.08m to £804.52m in the week ended May 20 according to figures published today. The latest £10.44m jump in gold and foreign exchange follows a £13.3m improvement in the week ended May 13. The latest figure is the highest since the Reserve Bank changed the form of presenting its overseas funds in April. Gold and foreign exchange stood at £770.1m on April 8 when the form of presentation was changed.
