Four New Zealanders are • working in a village developi ment project in the north-east ■ of Thailand. 300 miles from - Bangkok. They are building ..two schools. The Mid-Can-terbury branch of the New t Zealand Junior Red Cross is : raising the £5O needed to put > an iron roof on one of the . schools. i Similar fund-raising is - being carried out by the - Otago branch.
