Huntons Buy Flats
C. Hunton, Ltd., motor builders and car painters, 55 Kilmore street, have purchased a two-storey block of flats in Cranmer square.
The property adjoins land in Kilmore street owned by Hunton’s and used for offstreet car parking. The flats, which are on a quarter-acre section, were previously owned by Gloucester Holdings.
Injured in Collision.—Mrs Margaret McTigue, of 183 Wilsons road, suffered head injuries in a collision between a car and a truck at the corner of Barbadoes and Gloucester streets on Wednesday afternoon. Mrs McTigue was taken to the Christchurch Hospital by ambulance and was discharged after treatment.
