Troops Flown To Aden
(N Z.P.A.-Reuter— l Copyright) LYNEHAM (England), May 21
An airlift of 14 Britannia transport aircraft carried troops of the First Battalion, Royal Scots, to Aden, from the Lyneham, Wiltshire, base of the Royal Air Force.
The first aircraft left Lyneham at 6 p.m. last evening and others took off at twohour intervals.
A squadron of Royal Engineers was included in the airlift, believed to have involved a total of 700 officers and men, and equipment.
