WANT EYES PROTECTED
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, May 19. Auckland firemen feel strongly that protective goggles should be supplied to men fighting arc fires, the Auckland and North Shore Fire Brigade Union president (Mr A. W. Monk) said today.
Seven firemen were treated at the eye department of Auckland Hospital last night after they fought a power pole fire in the city.
