PUBLIC NOTICE - Pursuant to Section 65 of the Rabbits, Act, 1955: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that The Plains Rabbit Board has by resolution dated April 16, 1964. classified all the land in its district for the purpose of levying, a rate on a graduated scale for the period commencing on April 1, 1964, and ending on March 31, 1965. A complete Classification list may be Inspected at the office of the Board, c/o. Smith, Boyd and. Kpight. 143 Hereford street, Christchurch, between the hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays, and will be open for inspection from Thursday, May 21, 1964, until Monday, June 15, 1964. ASHLEY COUNTY COUNCIL ESTIMATES 1964/65 PUBLIC NOTICE pursuant to Section 196 (2) of the Counties Act, 1956, is hereby given that the Ashley County Council has prepared and approved the following estimates for the period commencing on April 1, 1964, and ending bn March 31, 1965: 1. The proposed expenditure of the said County is: (a) On administration 2,595 (b) On maintenance and construction county roads and bridges .. 25,665 (c) On plant maintenance 6,459 (d) On loan repayments 2,216 (e) On miscellaneous 2,596 39,432 2. PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Ashley County Council at a meeting to be held at 1 p.m. On Thursday, June 4, 1964, proposes to make and levy the following rates:— (a) A general rate of IJd in the pound on the capital value of all .rateable propertv within the County of Ashley. (b) Rates as directed by special order of the North Canterbury Catchment Board. Such rates to be for the period commencing on April 1, 1964, and ending on March 31, 1965, and shall become due and payable in one sum on September 1, 1964, at the office of the Ashlby County Council, Loburn, . where the valuation rolls are open for inspection during office hours.
